The cannabis bust in the Whitchurch
POLICE in Whitchurch have seized a number of cannabis plants following a raid at an address in the town.
Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhood Team revealed the warrant had been executed on the morning of Wednesday, September 15.
Hannah Lister, PCSO for Whitchurch SNT, confirmed that the owner of the plants had been dealt with by police.
In a social media post, she said: "This morning Whitchurch SNT attended an address in Whitchurch where we have seized a number of cannabis plants found to be growing at the address.
"This is part of our policing promise to Whitchurch Town Council to target the areas of concern with drugs being one of the top concerns.
"The owner of the cannabis plants is being dealt with accordingly. "
