TWO fires in the space of an hour kept firefighters busy on Sunday afternoon.
The first incident was reported at 3pm, in Wharf Road and involved a small section of grass and undergrowth on fire.
One crew was dispatched to the fire, which was extinguished using a hosereel jet.
At 3.42pm, the crew was then called to Scotland Street, to a fire involving a refuse bin set alight by hot ashes.
The incident was dealt with by 4pm.
