Two top horticulturalists will visit Malpas next week for a talk on designing the perfect garden.
Penny Hearn and Jane Bingham will speak to members of Malpas Amateur Gardeners on Thursday, September 9, at 7.30pm at the Methodist Church in High Street.
Anyone is welcome to attend the talk.
The following Saturday the club will then hold a plant sale and flower and produce show, this time in the Jubilee Hall.
Anne Harrison, from the club, invited people to come along.
She said: "All are welcome to exhibit, have a look around the garden and see what you have.
"Schedules are available from Mike Boxall on mikeboxall1@gmail.com or from Thursday's meeting.
"Entries need to be brought in between 8.45am and 9.45am.
"The plant sale is from 11am until 12noon – a great way to fill any gaps in the garden.
"Tea, coffee and cake available."
