IF YOU have always wanted to take a 'selfie' with an alpaca, then you will have the opportunity in Penley next month.

Mulberry Farm, which specialises in alpacas, is holding an open day for the British Alpaca Society’s Open Farm Day on Saturday, September 4.

Visitors will not only enjoy the sight of alpacas, but will also have a chance to take a photo with the animals, and enjoy tea and cake.

The day is also to raise funds for Severn Hospice, with the entry fee donated to the charity.

Roz Edwards, from Mulberry Farm, hoped the event would raise as much as possible for charity.

She added: "We are thrilled to be open again.

"We will be open from 10-4pm and the £3 entry fees will be donated to the Severn Hospice.

"With the help of the Ellesmere Severn Hospice Support Group we will be offering a cuppa, a cake and a cuddle with an alpaca.

"Mulberry Alpacas now has 17 beautiful alpacas including two cute babies – Olive and Ozzie.

"Visit the shop and find some great alpaca gifts from alpaca socks to alpaca duvets.

"There will be a take a selfie with an alpaca competition, a guess the weight of the alpaca competition and a quiz for the children."
