FORMER Bishop Heber pupil Tom Curry has kept his place in the British and Irish Lions team for the second test against South Africa this weekend.

Tom Curry is among the 15 players to make up the line-up ahead of the match at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, July 31.

The 23-year-old Sale Sharks player, whose father David is still headteacher at the Chester Road school, has retained his place in the Lions starting XV after the side won the opening test against South Africa last weekend.

Curry has added Lions caps to his latest honours after his England debut and a World Cup finals appearance.
