WE MAY have spent the past few days basking in a heatwave, but if the weather forecasters are right, rain is on the way.
So we decided to put together a list of some of our favourite indoor attractions in and around Whitchurch for when spending time outdoors is off the table.
1. Funzone
Featuring multi-level play, a two-lane wavy slide, ball pools and sports area, Funzone has everything you need to tire out the little ones of all ages and there's plenty of seating and a cafe for adults.

2. Doodle Alley
Get creative and make something special to take home and show off. There are hundreds of pottery pieces available for visitors to put their own artistic spin on.

Open Tuesday to Friday 10am-4pm; Saturday 10am-5pm.

3. Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker
Previously a bombing decoy, Hack Green was later a radar station aimed at protecting the land between Birmingham and Liverpool. Now you can find out more about that piece of history after it remained hidden for more than 50 years.
Off Whitchurch Road, Nantwich
Open Monday to Sunday 10am-5pm.

4. Wem Swimming and Lifestyle Centre
Take a dip with the family at Wem Swimming Pool and mix fun with fitness and gaining confidence in the water.

Prices: Under-3s free; juniors £3.20; adults £4.20. Booking is essential.
5. Odeon Wrexham
Now that life is returning to normal there's finally some hit films for people of all ages to get out and enjoy so grab your popcorn, ice cream and drink, sit back and enjoy.
