RECENTLY renovated Malpas pub The Lion has provided a sneak-peak into the newly opened boutique bedrooms.
The bedrooms were created as part of the extensive restoration of what was formerly known as the Red Lion, which came to an end in the summer of 2020 when The Lion at Malpas was launched.
The pub has now released a video that highlights the 16 new rooms, several of which are dog-friendly.
Room styles include the 'Village', which are unique and individually designed double and twin bedrooms.
There are also eight 'Country' suites on site, which are larger, more luxurious rooms.
Accompanying the Village and Country rooms is the locally-renowned Bakery room, a two-floor duplex suite.
It is also believed that this is where Lloyd George addressed the villagers of Malpas from shortly before becoming prime minister.
The video was put together by Josh Brown, from the Lion's sister pub The Swan at Tarporley.
