WHITCHURCH Library has begun welcoming residents back to use its services as Covid restrictions continue to ease.

Library visitors are now able to browse the available books as well as use the computers.

Hazel Price from Shropshire Libraries also confirmed that there would be no late return charges for the time being.

She said: "Whitchurch Library is now welcoming back customers to browse and use the computers.

"We are asking people to return any overdue library books that they might have at home, even if they've had them for a long time.

"Overdue fines currently remain suspended so there will be no charges for library stock that is brought back late.

"To use a computer or the Wi-Fi area customers are advised to book a 45-minute session either by telephone (01948 662238) or email whitchurch.library@shropshire.gov.uk

We are currently operating with reduced opening hours – Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 10am-12noon and 1pm-4pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm.

"We can't wait to see all our regular customers back and enjoying choosing something new to read."
