FOOTBALL supporters are being asked to donate food at the forthcoming friendly between Ellesmere Rangers and TNS.
The clash between the North West Counties League side and Europa Conference-bound JD Cymru Premier runners-up takes place at Beech Grove at 11.30am on June 12.
A club spokesman said: "We ask supporters to bring food, tinned or dry, through the turnstiles and all we be donated to the local food banks.
"It would be a brilliant way to celebrate the return of football and fans back at the ground and by doing that we are helping the local food bank."
