CARDEN Park owner and housing developer Steve Morgan has been named as one of the 10 richest people in the West Midlands in the Sunday Times' latest rich list.
Mr Morgan, 68, is the owner of Redrow, as well as the former owner of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
According to the Sunday Times West Midlands Rich List, Mr Morgan was worth £881m in 2021, up £130m from last year.
As well as owning luxury resort Carden Park, Mr Morgan also runs the Steve Morgan Foundation, which supports projects that help children and families, people with physical or learning disabilities, the elderly, or those that are socially disadvantaged in north Wales, Merseyside and Cheshire.
Topping the West Midlands list meanwhile are pharmaceutical bosses Ernesto and Kirsty Bertarelli, with a net worth of £9.2 billion.
