FIREFIGHTERS were called out to Ellesmere Port last night (May 17) to tackle a blaze in a wooded area.
The fire off Dolphin Crescent, Great Sutton, involved wood and ornamental wooded carvings.
One engine from the town attended the incident at 9.44pm.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to a fire in a wooded area off Dolphin Crescent, Ellesmere Port.
"The crew used water to put out the fire which involved wood and ornamental wooden carvings."
