THERE were 57 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Shropshire during the seven-day period between April 30 and May 6.
This is a 14 per cent increase on the previous week.
The seven-day infection rate for Shropshire was 17.6 per 100,000 people.
It was 18.2 for the West Midlands and 21.4 for England.
During the seven-day period, two hospital beds were occupied by Covid-19 patients but during the period there were zero Covid-related deaths.
