WEM cyclo-cross star Isaac Vickery has continued his excellent form in 2021, with three wins in April and May.
On April 18, Isaac took his cyclo-cross bike to Top Barn in Worcester.
April's dry weather meant the course was lacking cyclo-cross' trademark mud, but this failed to make an impact on Isaac's performance.
An electric start saw him build a comfortable lead, which he extended until he rolled across the line.
A week later on April 25, Isaac headed south again for round two of the Southern XC MTB series, set in the surroundings of the New Forest.
The course was cut through the woods and contained a big hill which played into Isaac's strengths and allowed him to win by 45 seconds in a 15 minute race – lapping all but the second and third placed boys.
And May 9, saw Isaac back on his favourite bike at round three of the Southern XC MTB series held at Folly Farm in Basingstoke.
Racing against boys from as far afield as Abergavenny; Torquay; and Hastings, Isaac was gridded on the front row.
Pushing hard right off the line Isaac negotiated the wooded course and the slippery roots to make it three out of three wins in the series.
Isaac is back racing this weekend at Top Barn again, before a well-deserved holiday in Cornwall.
