The council election in Shropshire has certainly had its share of shocks today.
And this interactive graphic, produced by local democracy reporter Keri Trigg, shows how the composition of the authority has changed in recent years.
It highlights a fall in the number of seats held by the Conservative Party - although it remains the largest party and has today retained control of the authority.
It also shows the impact the Greens have had at this election, winning four seats for the first time, and demonstrates the endurance of the Liberal Democrats – who had their best result of the last four elections in this year's poll.
