A MAN managed to get out of his car following a crash on the M56.
Blue Watch from Powey Lane fire station attended the scene of the collision at about 8.50am this morning (Saturday, May 8) westbound between Junction 15, Stoak, near Chester, and junction 16.
Fortunately there were no serious injuries and the driver was handed to the care of paramedics.
The vehicle was made safe by firefighters.
