A TRIO of siblings from Lower Heath have completed a marathon effort to raise more than £1,000 for charity.
Evie, Seth Baillie, who attend Lower Heath CE Primary School and their sister Sophie, who attends Sir John Talbot's, have spent the last month completing runs to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The trio have been able to raise around £1,400 for the charity, running more than 300 miles in the process.
A spokesman for the Marches Academy Trust, which the two schools are members of, said they were proud of the siblings' efforts.
"The Marches Academy Trust are so proud of Evie, Seth and Sophie Baillie who have raised almost £1,400 for Cancer Research UK by completing 30 runs and 331.5 miles over 30 days," they said.
"They discovered that funding had been cut due to the Covid-19 pandemic and wanted to make a difference to this charity and those suffering or impacted by cancer.
"We are very proud of our pupils, Evie and Seth who attend Lower Heath CE Primary School and Sophie now attends Sir John Talbot’s School."
