A GROUP of youngsters from Whitchurch will raise money for a good cause this April by running 5K every day.

Sophie, Evie and Seth Sewell have decided to try and raise money for a cause which is very close to all their hearts.

They hope to raise money for Cancer Research after recently finding out that two of their family members have been diagnosed with cancer.

Last June their Aunty was admitted to hospital for suspected gall stones, but within 24 hours she had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The news also follows their grandad's recent cancer diagnosis.

A JustGiving page has been launched for the trio's efforts, which to date has raised around £800.

Sophie, Evie and Seth's mum, Victoria, explained the trio's decision to undertake the fundraiser.

"They are running it for two of the most important people in their lives," said Victoria.

"Firstly, their beautiful and brave Aunty Deb who they love so very much.

"She was diagnosed with a cancer in June 2020 which cannot be cured – nobody should ever have to receive that news.

"Hearts are broken and they want to try to find a way to help this to never be the case for other families.

"They are also running it for their grandad who has also recently had a cancer diagnosis himself.

"No family should have to ever go what our family has.

"They want to find a way to 'make this horrible disease not exist anymore.'

"We would really appreciate any support, if you are able to."
