IT IS set to be a hot one this week, with temperatures across the region reaching up to 20C in places.
Tuesday is set to be the hottest day of the week, with temperatures pushing 20C by mid afternoon. Blue skies are also forecast.
Wednesday will be a little cooler, estimated to reach 17C by mid afternoon, although it is set to be a cloudy day with intervals of sun.
April and the Bank Holiday will begin with temperatures levelling off, with Thursday through Sunday set to hover between 10C and 12C, remaining cloudy and sunny throughout.
Unfortunately for those wishing to make the most of Monday's Bank Holiday, the weather is likely turn colder and more unsettled by the start of the following week.
Following this cold and unsettled spell, conditions are likely to become more settled with temperatures starting to return back to average towards the end of this period.
