A NEW woodland adventure park based next to the historic Cholmondeley Castle is recruiting for a number of roles ahead of its opening next month.

We reported last week that BeWILDerwood, which has chosen Cheshire as the location for its second multi-million pound park, is set to launch on April 12.

The unique attraction, which will be able to open from that date under the Government's step-by-step plan to ease Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, has now launched a recruitment drive to ensure its team is in place and fully trained in readiness for the opening.

Since the success of BeWILDerwood’s award-winning woodland in Norfolk, the new Cheshire attraction has been in the works for some time.

It is promising the biggest wonky wooden play structures and treehouses imaginable, as well as a massive, muddled maze, wobbly zip wires and giant slippery slides.

Designed to be in-keeping with its natural surroundings, BeWILDerwood has no noisy rides, no electronics and no junk food. All activities and crafts are included in the ticket price.

The company’s ethos is to leave technology behind, get outdoors and use your imagination.

The seasonal roles currently up for grabs are:

  • Front of house and retail
  • Catering
  • Storytelling and events
  • Park rangers

BeWILDerwood Cheshire states: "We need brilliant smiley humans to join The Twiggle Team at BeWILDerwood Cheshire, ensuring all our lovely visitors have the best day ever!

"With a planned opening of Spring 2021, we are beginning our recruitment now despite the current global pandemic, to ensure the team are in place, trained and raring to go!"
