WHITCHURCH Town Council is asking for residents' views to help them make decisions about the future of play areas in the town.

The town council has already agreed funding for a youth shelter and a new state-of-the-art power generating exercise bike, which will be situated in Jubilee Park.

It is hoped this new equipment will be installed in March.

The council is now looking at further improvements that can me made, and wish to hear the views of Whitchurch residents.

Councillor Andy Hall, chairman of the Parks and Public Realm Committee, said the views of residents would help to shape Whitchurch's future.

"Funds have been allocated for inclusive play equipment and to upgrade and install new equipment in Deermoss Park," said Cllr Hall. "We would like residents to let us know what sort of play equipment they would like throughout the town to help us plan for the future."

The consultation will run until April 16 2021.
