FIREFIGHTERS in Prees were called out to an evening chimney fire on Thursday.
The incident was reported at 9.25pm at an address in Steel Heath.
One crew was dispatched to the fire, which involved a log burner.
Chimney rods and small tools were used to extinguish the fire, while a thermal imaging camera was use to check the fire was completely extinguished.
The crew left the scene at 10.15pm.
