A YOUNG Whitchurch dancer is calling on the town to get behind her bid to win a national online dancing competition.
Jess Hughes, 12, is part of GLO's Dance and Cheer – based in High Street – and she has entered the national competition being run by Award City, based in Lancashire.
GLO owner Gemma Hodgkinson explained the process.
She said: "Jess is in with the chance to win a workshop with dance troupe Diversity if she makes the final.
"She needs votes to get into the top five and she is asking the people of Whitchurch and surrounding areas to please register with Award City and vote for her (you receive three free votes when registered)."
Her moves can be seen at https://www.awardcity.co.uk/entry/?entry=219 where people can also vote.
