FIREFIGHTERS from Shropshire and Cheshire helped tackle a fire on the county border on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident was reported at around 1.30pm and crews from Whitchurch and Audlem attended the fire, which occurred at an address in Grindley Brook.
The fire involved a wood burning stove and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the fire.
Crews then used a thermal imaging camera to check for fire spread.
The fire was extinguished by around 3pm.
