FIREFIGHTERS from Ellesmere helped tackle a chimney fire near the town on Tuesday evening.
The fire was reported at around 7.15pm at a domestic property in Lyneal.
One crew from Ellesmere was mobilised, who used Chimney rods, small gear, a Stirrup pump and a Thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
The crew were on the scene for around 30 minutes.
