THERE were four Covid-19 deaths at Shropshire Community Health Trust (Shropcom) and Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust (SaTH) over the weekend latest figures show.
NHS England figures show 298 people had died in hospital at SaTH as of 5pm on Sunday, January 3.
That was an increase of three compared to Friday, when there were 295.
It means there have been 12 deaths in the past week, down from 20 the previous week.
Meanwhile the first coronavirus death in more than a week has been recorded at Shropcom.

That was one more than had been recorded at the same point on Friday, and the first death in eight days.
The victims were among 10,855 deaths recorded across the midlands, which is the worst affected of England's seven NHS regions.
