WELCOME to the final camera club of 2021.
This week we are delighted to share the labours of our wonderful camera club members.
Many spent Christmas out and about their localities and captured some truly breathtaking scenes to share with readers.
Without doubt, this year’s Christmas was peculiar.
Many will have struggled to enjoy a social distanced Christmas with entire high streets and industries closed.
However full credit to all those who soldiered through to make the most of it.
The Christmas walks were perhaps much quieter this year owing to restrictions.
It is pleasing to see some people managed to get out and sweat off some of their Christmas dinner with a walk around their area.
While we did not get snow on Christmas Day, despite some curious Met office claims Britain had enjoyed a White Christmas as it snowed in two English regions, this did not detract from some simply stunning pictures being taken by our camera club stars.
Many would not look out of place on a postcard.
So as we begin what will hopefully be a better year than last we can hopefully look forward to new moments, new adventures, new lessons and new memories.
The secrets to joy and success lies within each of us and and I am sure camera club members would attest the beauty of the area and challenge of capturing it on camera is a worthwhile pursuit.
