IT may not have been a white Christmas for the residents for Whitchurch this year, but snow did arrive before the year was out
Areas of the country experienced a smattering of snow on Sunday, most notably Birmingham, north Shropshire looked to have mostly missed out.
But snow lovers did not miss out, with the town being blanketed in the white stuff on Tuesday morning.
Between around 9.30am and 11am Whitchurch was hit by snowy conditions, with streets and rooftops quickly becoming a winter wonderland.
Unfortunately for snow lovers, and as is often the case in the UK, the weather soon changed with the snow gradually turning into sleet before finally washing away all the good work with rain.
There is predicted to be one last hurrah of snow for 2020 on Thursday though, with the Met Office suggesting cold temperatures will bring precipitation throughout the day.
