FIREFIGHTERS from Wem received a callout on Monday afternoon to reports of a chimney fire near the town.
The incident was reported at 4.20pm at an address in Nonely and one crew from Wem was dispatched to tackle the fire.
At the scene the crew used chimney rods, a small camera and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters were on the scene until shortly after 5pm.
