The RTC on the A41
A ROAD traffic collision near Market Drayton closed the A41 for several hours on Monday evening.
The incident was reported at around 2pm, near to HMP Stoke Heath and involved three vehicles, including a 4x4 pulling a trailer.
Police, firefighters and the ambulance service all attended the incident, although firefighters were only on the scene for around an hour.
One casualty was released into the care of the ambulance service and the road was reopened around seven hours later at 9pm.
