FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car fire on the A41 in Broxton early on Thursday morning.
At around 8.40am firefighters from Chester attended reports of a car fire on Whitchurch Road, Broxton.
On arrival they found one car which well alight.
The road was closed as a precautionary measure, while one firefighter, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The crew were detained at the scene for around one hour.
