THE MP for Eddisbury has launched a competition for the best festive decorated houses in Cheshire.
People are being asked to nominate their neighbours in the competition, which has been organised by the MP Edward Timpson.
Edward said that after a difficult year, he wants to spread the festive cheer.
“2020 has been a tough year for so many people," said Edward. "Covid-19 restrictions have meant that in many cases, we have not been able to see friends and family for months, which is why it is fantastic to see so many people spreading festive cheer and decorating their houses so brilliantly."
To take part in the competition, email Edward on edward.timpson.mp@parliament.uk with a picture of the house you would like to nominate after speaking to the owners first.
The winning house will then be decided on December 18, and the winner will be presented with their prize by Edward before Christmas.
