A PUB in Cholmondeley has multiple awards once again, for its gin and dining experiences.

The Cholmondeley Arms recently landed two prestigious awards; the 'County Dining Pub of the Year 2021' and 'Gin Pub of the Year 2021' by The Good Pub Guide.

But the pub is no stranger to winning as this is the third year in a row it has won the national title Gin Pub of the Year and the second time it has won the title of County Dining Pub of the Year.

The double celebration comes as the pub launches its own Cholmondeley Arms Gin in time for Christmas.

The Gin marks the 10th anniversary of owners Tim Bird and Mary McLaughlin in 2021, when they reopened the 'Chum' after extensive investment and refurbishment.

Tim said he was delighted to win the awards.

"These are tough times for local pubs so it is particularly welcome for the team to be recognised with these two prestigious awards," said Tim.

"We have worked very hard to put all the required measures in place to ensure that customers can visit safely and enjoy the wonderful food and drink we have to offer and we're particularly excited to now also introduce them to our very own gin."
