A POPULAR shop in Whitchurch has announced the launch of a new Reserve & Collect service for its customers to offer them the convenience of a quicker store visit.

The Original Factory Shop, in Green End, announced the free service for all of its 166 branches following a successful trial in 10 stores, ending its time of operating as an offline-only business.

Oliver Peck, brand and customer director of The Original Factory Shop, believes the move to a different type of product has been forced by these uncertain times.

He said: “For the last 50 years, our shops have sat in the heart of communities and we have launched this service so that we can continue to serve our loyal customers in the safest possible way.

"It’s a first for our business and we hope that it helps our customers continue to shop for the products they want and need in a more convenient way during these uncertain times.

"In addition to the new Reserve & Collect service, The Original Factory Shop also plans to launch a brand new transactional website in the coming weeks.

"Once live, customers will be able purchase some items without having to leave their homes."

The new service allows customers to easily browse more than 300 products online, including heating, homeware, electrical, cleaning, beauty and toys.

Customers then have the option to reserve their selected items – free of charge – from the comfort of their own home and then collect and pay for these items at their local store.

Customers can view all products available through Reserve & Collect at at www.tofs.com/collections/reserve-collect and can visit the website for more information on the service at www.tofs.com/pages/reserve-collect
