DATA released by Public Health England shows there were five new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Whitchurch in the seven days up to Saturday, October 24.

The map, which details case numbers in Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOA) showed the number of cases decreased by one from the previous seven-day period.

In the area of Churton, Farndon and Malpas, 13 cases were confirmed, two fewer than the week prior.

There were also 13 cases confirmed in the area of Woore, Prees and Tilstock, three fewer than the previous seven-day period.

Wem saw seven new cases, three more than the number reported in the seven-day period prior, while an increase of nine saw 12 cases reported in Ellesmere.

Eight cases were confirmed in the area of Audlem, Bunbury and Wrenbury, while three cases were confirmed in the Baschurch, Cockshutt and Harmer Hill area.
