A NURSERY in Penley has benefited from a Welsh Government grant to help improve their outdoor play area.
Mother Goose Nursery successfully secured the grant through the Childcare Offer Small Grants Funds, which provides vital help towards childcare costs for parents of three or four year old children.
Made up of 30 hours of Early Education and Childcare per week, for up to 48 weeks of the year the fund aims to make life easier for parents by offering help with their childcare costs.
Gemma Butler, Mother Goose Nursery manager, said she was delighted to be able to upgrade the nursery's resources.
"This fantastic news has enabled us to look at re-vamping our existing equipment now, and purchasing more to enhance all the learning opportunities for our children at Mother Goose Nursery," she said.
"They have been able to explore new ways of learning and interacting with each other.
"In particular, the story chairs have been a big hit with the children, and they love to listen and read books outside with staff members and their peers."
