FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a house fire in a village near Chester.
Two fire crews attended to the blaze on Boundary Lane in Malpas shortly before 4,30am today (Wednesday, October 28).
Crews, wearing two breathing apparatus, used three main jets and two hose reel jets to tackle the flames.
The roof was well alight and had burnt through causing it to collapse onto the first floor.
Everyone inside the house was accounted for.
One woman was treated for slight smoke inhalation by paramedics.
