STUDENTS from Ellesmere College have starred at a recent equestrian event, picking up first and second places.
Jake Stockton, Immy Spencer-Blow, Bella Spencer-Blow and Ollie Loud were all part of the school's equestrian team and were competing in the NSEA showjumping competition at Beaver Hall Equestrian Centre near Leek.
In the 80cm class, Jake came first out of 45 riders as well as competing with the rest of the team for the 80cm class and the 90cm class where they came fourth overall.
In the 90cm class the team took second place and Bella placed fourth individually.
Thanks to these results, all team members are now through to the NSEA championships at Addington.
