AN UNATTENDED bonfire in Wem set fire to a treehouse on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident was reported at 3.12pm at an address in Edstaston.
Two fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem and crews used a hosereel jet to tackle the fire.
This incident involved a tree house fully involved in fire along with adjacent trees, hedges and undergrowth and ignition was caused by a unattended bonfire.
Firefighters left the scene just after 4pm.
