A WOMAN has been seriously injured following a three-vehicle collision near Chester.
The collision happened on the A41 Whitchurch Road at about 5.20pm on Wednesday, September 2 and required a full road closure between Platts Lane (Bruera turn off, Hatton Heath) and Quarry Lane (Waverton turn off, Waverton).
The North West Air Ambulance was deployed to the scene.
A woman, driving a blue Peugeot, received serious but not life-threatening injuries in the collision and was taken to hospital.
The two other drivers – in a silver Vauxhall Astra and a white Ford Transit van – received minor injuries.
Cheshire West and Chester Council cleaned up the debris on the road, which was fully reopened at 10.30pm.
