The A528 was closed for some time
A MAN has died following a serious collision near Ellesmere on Friday evening.
The incident happened on the A528 in Cockshutt at around 8.15pm on Friday, August 21 and involved a blue Ford Fiesta and white Ford Kuga.
A man in his 50s suffered serious injuries and was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital for treatment where he sadly died on Sunday, August 23.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident and anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
