Whitchurch Cricket Club hosted an internal T20 fixture for the Shropshire squad last Sunday
A SPECIAL 100 overs friendly between two Shropshire sides will take place in Whitchurch next month.
The friendly will be contested between a selected Shropshire County Cricket League (SCCL) XI against Shropshire County Cricket Club (SCCC) at Whitchurch Cricket Club.
The match will take place on Sunday, September 6.
The SCCL took to social media to announce the upcoming fixture.
"We are delighted to announce that we have accepted the invitation for a 100 overs friendly match at Whitchurch Cricket Club on Sunday, September 9 against SCCC," they said in a Twitter post.
"Our very own committee member James T Ralph SCCL XI team manager.
"Great opportunity for the SCCL."
