THE Whitchurch Herald Camera Club took advantage of the recent fine weather to provide a mouth watering selection of pictures.

We begin in the top left with Emma Victoria’s delightful photograph of a barge at the canal in Whitchurch and below that Linda Treweek submitted a picture from her day out at Manley Mere.

Next we have a moody evening at the canal in Whitchurch sent in by Steve Hodgkinson and Emma Victoria’s postcard picture of Whixhall Moss Nature Reserve.

Caroline Barrett shared a wonderful image of Higher Wych and Teresa Bandey took an awe inspiring picture of St Alkmund’s Church while we complete this page with Karen Holding’s picture from her evening stroll around Wirswall.

On the facing page we have picture which would not be out of place in the past century as we see a horse pulling a barge down the canal near Whitchurch which was taken by Steve Hodgkinson.

Next we have a family of Housemartins busy building a new home sent in by Laura Butler and Lily Langford’s butterfly landing on a flower.

Laura Butler also shared an image of the sun setting above her pear tree.

Meanwhile Graham King shared a scene from the Brown Moss wetlands and Gary Leroy Crawford snapped a busy bee in Jubilee Park.

We close with another picture from Laura Butler who snapped the sun setting overhead.
