EMERGENCY services rushed to a house in Ellesmere Port yesterday evening (August 13) where a woman sadly died.

An air ambulance, two road ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were all scrambled to the scene after the alarm was raised at 5.14pm.

Police were also called to the property in Caernarvon Court to assist the paramedics.

Cheshire Constabulary has confirmed that a woman in her 30s had sadly passed away at the address and that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

A spokeswoman said: "Officers attended just before 6pm to assist an air ambulance at the scene who were dealing with a casualty in Caernarvon Court, Ellesmere Port.

"North West Ambulance Service confirmed that sadly one woman had passed away at an address in Caernarvon Court.

"There are no suspicious circumstances and her next of kin have been informed."
