POPULAR food and crafts stall Country Markets will return to Whitchurch Market from August.
Following the closure of the Friday market because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the stall has not been open.
With with the Friday market returning once again, the Country Market stall will return from Friday, august 7.
Members will be making the usual sponge cakes, pastries, pies and savouries along with fairy cakes and chocolate brownies, bara brith and lemon drizzle cakes.
Other homemade favourites in the form of jams, marmalades and spicy chutneys will also be on offer.
The group's knitters will also have plenty to offer, working on their craft throughout the lockdown and there will also be lots of perennial plants ready for sale.
Country Markets is a national organisation which specialises in home-baked and the Whitchurch branch has been in operation for 65 years, in 2019 celebrating the organisation's 100th anniversary.
Whitchurch Friday Market is open from 8am to 12.30pm in the Civic Centre every week.
