WHITCHURCH dancer AJ Pritchard has been making the most of the easing of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions by going on a romantic getaway to Combermere Abbey.

AJ visited the venue with girlfriend Abbie Quinnen, with the couple taking advantage of the Government’s recent lifting of restrictions to return to nature and enjoy a break in a secluded country cottage in Combermere Abbey’s grounds.

The pair enjoyed wild swimming in the estate’s 140 acre mere as well as gentle strolls with Abbie through the acres of gardens and greenery.

AJ said he had enjoyed being able to experience the outdoors safely once again.

“It’s fantastic to get back to nature and to be able to enjoy the outdoors and wonderful wildlife once again, now the restrictions are being lifted,” he said.

“It was the break we needed and we’re very much looking forward to life returning to normal once again.”

Sarah Callander-Beckett, owner of Combermere Abbey welcomed the easing of lockdown restrictions.

She said: “We were delighted to welcome AJ and Abbie to Combermere Abbey and for them to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

“After the lockdown it’s great to be able to welcome back guests and to open up the wild and naturally peaceful surroundings.

“The team has also worked hard to put in measures in place to keep guests safe, so that they can enjoy a romantic retreat or an opportunity to get away safely with family or friends.”
