ST ALKMUND'S church in Whitchurch will be closed for private prayer for two days this month.
The church was recently given permission to reopen after closing because of the coronavirus lockdown.
Repair and renovation works are ongoing at the church and because of this the building will be closed on from June 29 to June 30.
Reverend Judy Hunt said the church will reopen once again on Wednesday, July 1.
"As part of the gradual opening up process and as the building work nears completion there will be work going on to clean the inside of the church all day Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30, so no opportunity to come in for private prayer on these days," said Rev Judy.
"This will resume on a daily basis between 12noon and 2pm on Wednesday, July 1.
