FIREFIGHTERS from Prees have had to give advice to members of the public following a controlled burn on Sunday.
One crew was sent to Steel Road, in Steel Heath, shortly before 3.55pm after reports of smoke in the area.
However, when they arrived, they found a controlled burn and gave advice around controlled burnings during the Covid-19 pandemic.
They left the scene around 15 minutes later.
