A MAN is in custody having been arresting on suspicion of an assault in Colwyn Bay.
The man was arrested in Abergele.
This followed an incident on Sunday evening (June 14) where eyewitnesses spotted a large number of police cars, armed officers and a helicopter circling the area.
One eye-witness said the helicopter hovered over the town for about 45 minutes.
Market Street had been blocked off by police.
