FIREFIGHTERS from Ellesmere have tackled a chimney fire in Whitemere.
The fire was reporterd At around 4.30pm on Thursday, June 11and one crew was dispatched tackle the blaze.
The firefighters cut away the chimney breast using small gear and a birds nest and hot embers were removed.
After around an hour the firefighters left the scene.
