A SCHOOL outside Oswestry is giving prospective pupils an insight into life at the school through a virtual taster day.
Moreton Hall, in Weston Rhyn, will hold the event online, as opposed to the usual format which would see pupils welcomed to the school for a visit.
With restrictions placed upon schools to prevent the spread of the virus, pupils are unable to visit the school at the moment, but Moreton Hall principal George Budd still wanted to offer the chance for people to find out more about it.
He said: “Our virtual taster days allow pupils to experience the school’s welcoming ethos, warm, family atmosphere and develop a feel for everything that is happening at Moreton Hall on a day-to-day basis.”
The event follows a virtual open day held at the beginning of May.
The school is keen to provide prospective students, who are interested in finding out more about the school’s unique educational provision, with opportunities including the chance to chat with other members of their peer group and meet teachers in a virtual classroom environment via Zoom.
